Enrico Rastelli Juggling Flash Mob

In honour of Enrico Rastelli, 80 years after his death and at the end of an event dedicated to him on 15, 16 and 17 July, is organizing a flash mob of juggling in his homeland Bergamo, Citta’ alta, Piazza vecchia.
The event is titled “Sulle Strade di Rastelli” and the program is available here: rastelli.zwickyart.org/en/ Old Town Square is the main square of the old town of Bergamo, for the uninitiated.

All will start at 18 in the Old Town Square and will be divided into two specialties who want to recover the practiced by Rastelli

1 - Balance with clubs
At 6 p.m. there will be a drum roll. To prepare for this signal with the club in hand, and quietly arrange themselves evenly within the square. at the end of the drum roll position the club in balance on the front on the nose or chin, and keep it in balance. At the second roll of drums that will determine the end of the performance, take the club and disappear into the crowd as if nothing had happened.

Important: If the club falls before the end, do not put it back in balance, simply pick it up and scatter or stand still in place.

2 - Balls
At 6:20 p.m. there will be a drum roll. At this signal take 3 balls in hand, arrange themselves evenly in the square, look for a guy with a green hat and orient toward him.
At the end of the roll of drums start a classic 3 balls cascade following the rythm of the boy with green hat. What you will do, will simply be the classic3 balls cascade (so, no virtuosism), all trying to follow the same rhythm, so it’s important for all of the above person to follow the guy with the green hat. We must stand firm on the spot, silent and staring, if possible.
A drum roll will notify the end of the performance that will last for about 5 minutes, put away the balls and disappear into the crowd.

Important: If you fall into the balls, retrieve on a compound and start taking up the common rhythm.

For the success of flash mobs, and to ensure a good surprise effect it will be better that before and after the performance you avoid playing with balls and clubs on the street.

The realization of the flash mob is to give awareness and enhance to the figure of Enrico Rastelli, who is well-known in other states, but not so much in Italy and especially in Bergamo, his homecity.
This is why we want you to participate in the largest number of people. You are all invited to participate and you are ALL invited to invite everyone you know who knows how to run a club or keep 3 balls in balance and then to disseminate this notice through any social network or media.

You can reach Bergamo by plane by landing at Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) with Ryanair. The location is 15 minutes by bus from the airport
